Junior Academy divided into 8-week semesters
PROGRESSING JUNIORS TOWARDS PAR OR BETTER ON THE COURSE
The Kyle Voska Golf Junior Academy uses the Operation 36 framework to structure the program. It consists of Coaching, Playing, and Training programs designed to teach juniors to play the game from a hole out perspective. Each golfer will be issued a profile in the Operation 36 Mobile App to track progress through a 6 level curriculum that is designed to set appropriate objectives and challenge each student towards shooting par or better (score of 36) for 9 holes.
The academy is divided into 3 levels: Recreational (Ages 8-15), Future Stars (Ages 9-12) and Elite (Ages 12-17). The Future Stars and Elite versions of the academy are INVITE ONLY based on academy achievements. The Future Stars and Elite academies can opt-in to supervised practices and competition series tournaments (dates/times TBD).
ACADEMY SEMESTER TUITION INCLUDES:
Eight Academy Classes
Juniors will learn the game in a weekly group class where our coaches will progress students through the 6 level Operation 36® curriculum. Each class has 6 students to one instructor, however, the Elite academy has a 4 to 1 student teacher ratio.
Three Operation 36 Tournaments
This is where your child falls in love with the game. Each class is assigned 3 Operation 36 tournaments per semester that challenge golfers to shoot the score of 36 for 9 holes from 9 different yardage divisions on the course.
For Future Stars & Elite Academy Members
Optional supervised practices will be offered during each semester. Each junior can attend as many as they’d like for $25 per practice. These practices focus on learning how to practice effectively individually and in small groups. Coach Kyle or Jeramy will guide these practices with games, drills and tips along the way.
During the first semester only, there will be 2-3 optional competition series tournaments. These tournaments, $35 each, will allow our academy students to test their game from their full set of tees (red, yellow, white or blue tees depending on age/skill) against other students in the academy. These will also be a great prep for summer junior tournaments, the Colorado PGA & the Colorado Golf Association, and resume builders to show high school coaches.
Current Operation 36 families will have the option to continue. New families, please contact Kyle about how to join. Most likely, you’ll have to be added to the waitlist.
Operation 36 Tournaments, the cornerstone of the program, provide a great experience for juniors to test their skills on the course. Each junior’s class will be assigned to 3 Operation 36 tournaments per semester. You can switch dates, if needed. Saturdays Approximately 4:30 PM start with tee times.
(Caddy required for golfers 10 and under)
